AIMA: New Dates for National Management Games (NMG) 2021

Post by saravanan.cse »

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

The Nation has been devastated by a new wave of pandemic that has touched each one of us in an adverse way.

I am sure all of us are taking utmost care at this time and trying to help each other in all ways possible.

AIMA’s National Management Games (NMG) is the largest platform to exhibit Business Management Skills as the best leaders.
Despite the lockdown, even last year the competition saw participation of more than 150 teams from across the Private and the Public sectors.

You would agree that Learning and decision-making skills are absolutely essential for modern manager and more so when businesses face grave uncertainties like in the present times

The participants at NMG get sensitized to business situations through

• Taking a synoptic view of a company's operation and work as a cross-functional team

• Carrying out detailed analysis with prediction and assumption having real data of their decisions to tackle critical business situations which emerge in the competition

• Making strategies to be ahead of the competitors

• Experimenting risk taking ability for the finance and market growth implications and emerge out of crisis

The sudden spike recently seems to have caught all of us unprepared and hence we have decided to tweak the NMG dates and have everything come back to some kind of normalcy.

One of the key reasons for a good participation last year was the fact that the competition was held completely Online and resulted in savings on account of time, money and efforts for the organisations.

We shall be doing the same this year as well.

One of the key highlights of the competition is that the Winner of the National Management Games gets to represent India at the Asian Management Games (AMG).

I urge you to nominate multiple teams to the competition and utilise the platform for managerial learning and growth of your executives.
